The official trade body recognised by UK authorities and trusted by consumers and businesses

The UK Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (UKWISPA) is the official trade body recognised by UK authorities. Our mission is to promote the interests of the industry and ensure that services provided by members are of the highest standards possible.

Each member of UKWISPA delivers internet access services that meet the highest industry standards so that businesses and consumers can be assured that they will be protected by our high standards for quality and service.

If you are a consumer or business wishing to access fixed wireless internet services, please check our Members List to ensure that your provider is a member of UKWISPA.

Stronger Together

No fixed wireless operator in the UK is as large as the top three fixed line operators. By working as a community, our members are able to compete on a level playing field with traditional operators. Sharing expertise, unifying our coverage and speaking as one with the Government are key factors in elevating our status to ensure the growth and success of this critical industry.

Professional Conduct

By working professionally and to Industry Best Practice, members of UKWISPA can give assurance to their customers and prospects that the services offered are of the very highest standard. If problems do occur, members respond in a professional and timely manner, meaning that customers can buy with complete confidence. Our approach also protects members in relation to fair and reasonable use of available spectrum as it ensures that operators behave lawfully and as good neighbours, managing channels professionally.

Raising the Bar

Working as a community, members of UKWISPA communicate and discuss common challenges and often allow for innovation, tips, ideas and highlight best practice. Mapping, spectral efficiency, choice of antenna, routing, power protection and service level management are just a few examples of where members can help one another. This all results in enabling our members to deliver better service and better value to customers.

One Voice

As many members are small organisations who may not be able to afford large public relations, marketing or lobbying bodies to act for them, UKWISPA can help promote and highlight their concerns and interests at the highest level. Equally, DSIT, Ofcom and local authorities often wish to communicate and consult on policy change and procurement opportunities that could affect fixed wireless operators. UKWISPA serves to bridge this gap and make our voices heard.
